Equine Abuse Report

For those unable to use the below form, you may send the information by E-Mail.

Here is what we do not want to know:

  • Manes and tails have tangles in them. (There is no law against not grooming your horse)
  • Vaccinations are not given or are not current. (The law does not consider it abusive not to vaccinate your horse)
  • Horses have worms. (Our inspectors can not do fecal exams, so we have no use for this information and there is no law stating that horses must be wormed on any set schedule, or ever).
  • Shelter is in disrepair. (This would only be pertinent in describing the property to help our inspectors locate the property.)
  • Incidents of abuse, neglect, or cruelty that are not currently going on, unless charges were filed by law enforcement in the past and the abuser was convicted or officially cited (got a ticket for it).
  • Abuser is seeking to breed a malnourished mare. (The law has no specifications for a minimum weight prior to breeding a mare)

Please review State Law   before you submit your report. This will save time for both you and our investigators.

Try to supply as much information as the form calls for..
If you wish to submit this abuse report confidentially, please only provide your e-mail address.

If information is unknown, leave it blank but we must have the address where the Equine is kept OR specific driving instructions on how to get there.
