Foster Care Provider (if yes, please state briefly the type of equine you prefer to foster) *Note: Kid gentle, broke to ride horses do not need to be rescued, therefore, we do not get any in unless they are also lame. Also, we have a 2-equine limit on foster homes, so you will not be asked to foster more than 2 unless you are an Intake Foster Care Provider (see next) ___________________________________________________________________
Intake Foster Care Provider (Requires you to accept up to 5 foster equine at any time, you must be able to accept blind, un-gelded, any age, wounded, starved, and aggressive equine. You must have a stock trailer & be able to transport to a local vet who charges conservative prices for services. You must own a 35MM camera & a weight tape. Your goal will be to get equine in, make sure they have all necessary vet care, photograph them, evaluate their training & temperament, & send them to regular foster homes as quickly as possible. Your feed, hay, and vet care expenses are reimbursable by USESR when you are an intake foster care provider. A barn is not necessary. Large acreage is not required. _________________________________________________________________________
