Event Coordinator

This position requires someone who has the interest to learn an exciting field of employment that can pay very well. The Event Coordinator will want to recruit other volunteers to assist them and will also need to be able to spend a lot of time planning and attending local events. Estimated time per week to complete this task: 8 hours, not including time spent at events.

Volunteer Coordinator

Receives notification from VP in Charge of Membership once notified of a specific member's desire to volunteer in a certain capacity. Keeps track of who is willing to volunteer for what. The same would go for Site Inspectors and other volunteer positions.

Regional Coordinator

Texas is a big state, and coordinating members and volunteers across hundreds of miles is a big project. For years, we have had to turn away volunteers who live in areas too far from headquarters to allow them to participate in USESR rescue activities. We have found a way to solve this problem. We have instituted Regional Coordinators. These important people will be the movers and shakers in the regions we have split Texas into. It will be your duty to attract new members in your region for the purpose of setting up a fully operational rescue program in your area. It's not as hard as it sounds, and it's a very important volunteer position.

Regional Coordinator Contract

Site Inspections Coordinator

You need not be a site inspector to fulfill this position. You will be expected to keep track of who is available, and whether they are Site Inspectors or Humane Investigators. When contacted by the Volunteer Coordinator or Foster Care Coordinator, you will assign a local Site Inspector to gain approval for Foster Care. You will be given abuse reports and will assign those investigations to a Humane Investigator. You will keep track of who/what locations are due for routine inspections and assign inspectors accordingly.

Foster Care Coordinator

Keep track of Foster Care Providers, where they are located, & space available. The Foster Care Coordinator would notify the Site Inspection Coordinator, main office headquarters, and keep a list of names and locations of Foster Homes. When an equine needs to go to a permanent foster home, headquarters would notify you so that you can make a recommendation and contact the potential Provider.
