Professional Volunteers

Are you a professional who would like to donate some time to USESR? Just a few hours per month would greatly assist us in serving the equine to the greatest, most professional degree possible. Are you an Attorney or a Paralegal who can look over our contracts or have an Attorney who can do so? We currently have no legal representation. Are you an Attorney specializing in liability issues? Would you be willing to donate a portion of your time or contract with USESR on a reduced fee scale? Professionals need not be members of USESR in order to volunteer their professional services or offer discounted service rates to USESR.

Horse Trainers

Almost every equine USESR rescues is in need of professional training, be it a little fine tuning or the working out of certain training “kinks”, such as bucking, biting, head tossing, or spooking. Several have never been handled before and are not even halter broke. All equine are more adoptable if they are at least green broke to ride. Professional trainers who wish to donate their time are few and far between, a real problem for almost every equine rescue in the U.S.

While we seek professional trainers and hope to one day have a few volunteer their services for us, we have not given up on alternatives to rehabilitate our precious equine. USESR offers a partial scholarship program for persons wishing to become professional trainers. Using the Pat Parelli Natural Horse-Man-Ship training methods, and enrolling in Pat’s training courses, you can build your career while helping needy equine build new lives and futures full of promise. Volunteers wishing to take advantage of this unique and valuable offer must have a round pen and be willing to foster at least 2 USESR equine in need of training at all times. A four year time commitment is also required. Volunteers in this training program must progress to at least Level 3 Partnership Training via the Pat Parelli certified courses.
